Havant Community Energy

Who is Havant Community Energy?
Havant Community Energy (HCE) is a volunteer-led group that will advise, facilitate, promote and invest in renewable energy. We are a non-profit Community Benefit Society.
As we work with the community to reduce energy use we will push to increase alternative energy sources such as rooftop solar—an immediate, visible step toward a cleaner future. We are investigating the feasibility of putting solar panels on a landfill in such a way as to increase biodiversity. We are also examining the viability of innovative solutions like battery storage, small wind turbines, tidal power, and geothermal energy.
It’s an ambitious mission, but with strong local partnerships, real progress is already underway.
